REFERRALS
Adults seeking therapy can of course self-refer. Please get in touch via the contact me section.
Parents and carers wanting support for children can refer directly to me. However, I will also receive
requests for psychology provision from GPs, school doctors/nurses, senior school staff, or social
workers. Consent is usually requested from parents before a referral is made. Any plan for further
appointments beyond those initially agreed will be discussed with parents and/or the referrer.
I will initially offer an assessment and work with the young person and family (where possible and
appropriate), to develop a shared understanding of their difficulties and create a therapy plan tailored towards their stated goals. Any therapy will be monitored to ensure that the client
gains the desired benefits from the appointments. The number of appointments is flexible and
dependent on individual need and the type of issues being addressed.
Any necessary clinical letters will be agreed with the young person and/or parent. For any parent or carer that would like to seek psychology input for their child, please kindly complete the short referral form in as much detail as you feel comfortable enough to share.

All new clients will need to complete and return the referral form below, prior to any first appointment.
